Smoked Salmon Sandwiches

Cocktail Breads are one-pound loaves approximately twelve inches long containing 43 useable mini slices, measuring 2" x 2" x ¼" thick.

Ingredients

  • 1 package cocktail rye bread, about 20 slices (1-ounce)
  • 1 package pareve cream cheese (8-ounce)
  • 1 pound thinly sliced smoked salmon, about 20 slices
  • 1 medium red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 small bunch fresh dill

Directions

Working with 10 slices of bread at a time, spread each with about 1 heaping teaspoonful of pareve cream cheese. Top each smear with 1 slice of salmon, 2 to 3 slices of red onion and 1 small sprig of dill. Top with remaining 10 slices of rye and press lightly to secure.

Can be made up to 2 hours in advance if wrapped tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerated.
