  • Hi Ronnie, These look exactly like the sweets we made for Purim called Hamans Oeren. Hamans Ears. They were a staple part of Purim fare for the Jews from Germany. My grandmother was an expert at rolling them paper thin. They were dredged very heavily in icing sugar. The house smelt of them and we knew Purim had arrived.
