really Fumios?
Hi koshergourmetmart,
I live in Elizabeth, and have been to Fumio Grill numerous times and I have to say that since the Landlord and the new Manager (Abby) took over, it became in my opinion the best kosher restaurant in New Jersey.

Nobo is listed twice. You should combine their votes and eliminate one of the postings.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention we will do that.
Fumio is my fave resto … I love Fumio
Wow do to all of Fumios votes I just made a RSVP for tonight, and will keep all of you posted what I think of the establishment.

UPDATE: So I was at Fumios last night and I give them a 9 and to be clear i have not given a restaurant a 9 in a while. As we got there we were greeted by a nice waitress and sat us down, after ordering off an iPad menu she introduced me to the owner or manager (i’m not quite sure only because he is very well spoken and cares a lot about the restaurant). To sum it up this place is now One of my favorite Glatt Kosher restaurant!
I must ad really really amazing King cut steak! “finger licking good”
I would recommend this place for a couple or even a family night out..
Prices are reasonable, portions are big as well..
* and you must try the beef negimaki appetizer *
This restaurant is one of the most amazing restaurants I have ever been to. The epitome of fine dining. We went there for my birthday. Our server was polite, knowledgeable and courteous. The tuna tartar was exceptional as was the sushi tower. I ordered the braised lamb shanks and my husband had the rib eye steak, both huge, loaded with flavor and perfectly accented by their side dishes. We ordered coffee and dessert which they brought it out singing. They went above and beyond, making our experience there exceptional! We can’t wait to go back again!
There’s really no way to describe just how amazing Fumio Grill and Sushi is. The menu is exceptionally creative, modern American cuisine. The quality of the food is superb and the portions are more than generous. I ordered the short ribs. The meat was so tender I didn’t use my knife once and the flavors were perfect. Be sure to try the apple crumb for dessert. This restaurant definitely knows what they’re doing and I wish them nothing but success and a long, long, long tenure. Can’t wait to go back.

Max and David’s is closed, as the link says
We used to love Darna in Jerusalem. The last time my daughter went there she was badly treated and ignored. She and her husband went on a date night wearing nice clothes and expecting a great dinner. She thinks that Darna is anti-settler and that they disliked her husband’s beard. She had never gone there with him before. Darna lost a family of loyal clients.
My vote is for China Bistro in Aventura, Florida. Delicious and Great Service!
congrats to Fumio!
