Jamie's Letter Hanukkah 2016 and Kosherfest

I remember the first time I attended Kosherfest. I was pregnant—very, very pregnant—and headlining a booth for the original Kosher.com that featured a monster 50-foot motorized shopping cart with a seriously loud engine.

That was seven years ago.

The world, my world, and the world of kosher have all drastically changed since then.

This year, we launched Jamie Geller’s JOY of KOSHER Kitchen at Kosherfest, producing a fully loaded menu of cooking demos featuring our award-winning editor-in-chief Shifra Klein, our newly appointed and also award-winning Culinary Director Chef Laura Frankel, plus Top Chef alum Chef Katsuji Tanabe of MexiKosher LA and NY, Renee Muller, author of Our Table, and Ted Dennard, founder of Savannah Bee Company.

Kosherfest new products

We are crazy crushing on Ted’s whipped honey, tahini (for sweet! and savory), truffles, fish sauce, artisanal bread, organic soup broths, and pumpkin spice — which BTW is still cool. We predict all these trends coming out of Kosherfest this year.
