Happy Lag BaOmer
Today we celebrate Lag BaOmer!! Translated as the 33rd day of the counting of the Omer and falls right between the holidays of Passover and Shavuot. It is a day that we all celebrate typically with BBQ’s, Bonfires, Food and Games. Jamie shares a bit about the history that has lead to this day and how it is celebrated in Israel and America in this post All About Lag BaOmer.
Once you finish reading about the holiday come back here to prepare some Lag BaOmer Salads for your outdoor BBQ. You can even plan some fun crafts with your kids for this day, Design Your Own Hat, Paint Your Own Parachute, and Create A Living Torah Picture.
Thinking about bonfires always brings to mind marshmallows and the classic smore’s. It is time to try on of these Smore’s Recipes for Lag BaOmer
