So this week as we gear up for the Oscars which will be next Sunday (Oscar menu) I am thinking about the movies I have seen and what I like to eat when I watch movies so here is a menu with that in mind.

On MondayI like to go easy and meatless and there is nothing my family likes more than potatoes at any time.  These Cheesey Stuffed Potatoes have it all.

On Tuesday I have to get my popcorn snacking in with this Cauliflower Popcorn from Susie Fishbein and that works so nice with this easy Teriyaki Skirt Steak.

Teriyaki Skirt Steak with Rice

On Wednesday if I have the time I will make these Hot Soft Pretzels and serve them with these Sausage and Peppers (works great with veggie sausage too).  If you like to add on this Red Cabbage Saute is worth a shot.

For Thursday there is nothing like Pizza with a movie and it is the perfect Thursday night food.  This Butternut Squash Pizza will not disappoint.   If you want to make your own dough this is my favorite Whole Wheat Pizza Dough Recipe and there are more if you do a search.

I would love some feedback here, I see more of you are reading this, what do you like about my menus and what don’t you like?

The menus are interesting, but honestly I haven’t made any of them yet. What I would like is a shopping list for the menu, like what’s in the JoK magazine.

    • Thanks Amy, I appreciate the feedback. I have thought about giving shopping menus but thought that many might just pick a couple of menus and not the week and wasn’t sure it would be useful in the end. If a few other people comment with that request and/or I have time I will try and add it.
