Two Slow Cooker Beef Dishes – Win Our Contest!!
Nothing like that aroma of a meaty stew cooking throughout the day – doesn’t matter whether you’re busy at home, or just returning after a long day. You take a sniff and the whole house tells you that dinner is ready!
Here are two great dishes that can satisfy the hungriest of tummies after a day at school or work. (They’re not only fab for your family, they’re gorgeous enough to serve to company too.)
Asian BBQ Beef Ribs with Seasoned Chips: the ribs are so mouthwateringly soft, the meat just falls right off the bone and melts in your mouth.

Beef Stew with Root Vegetables: traditional and delicious. Serve it with thick, crusty bread and experience perfection!
Some other beef dishes for you to try:
• Hearty Beef Stew with Scallion Biscuits
• Brown Sugar Barbeque Beef Stew
• Beef Goulash
• Beef Porridge

I’d love to win this prize…I’ve just been looking into slow cookers and the great meals that can be made in them. Great idea, to be able to put a complete meal on the table a busy family!
I am a Newsletter Subscriber and my favorite slow cooker meal is Stew, but let me give you a favorite of mine. Stew Meat sauted with onion, add 1 46oz can of tomato juice, cut up potatoes, carrots and 1 can of green beans (juice and all) then sprinkle 2 tablespoon of minute tapioca crystals over the top and cook for 5 hours. Trust me it is great(the tapico sweetens and thickens it, we have it instead of over rice or noodles, over home made biscuits. Thanks for the giveaway and enjoy.

My favorite slow cooker recipe is a kosher version of BBQ pulled pork I do.
I place a whole turkey breast into the crock pot with about 1/2 cups of water and season it with black pepper and garlic powder.
Cook on high for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Let it cook, then shred the turkey by either pulling it apart with your fingers or two forks.
Return the turkey to the crock pot (and the liquid still in it), add 2 bottles of your favorite BBQ sauce, mix thoroughly and cook on low for 45 minutes.
Serve on hot dog or hamburger buns or in a flour tortilla. Cole Slaw, potato salad and pasta salad are great sides to serve with it.
Perfect “1st House” gift for my son. Thanks for the opportunity
I would love to have a new slow-cooker. They are such life savers!
Jamie Darling,
How crazy this came in today because I did just what you suggested – I dusted off my crock pot (nobody in my house eats chulent any more!) and made dinner in 10 minutes with some chicken and veggies! I can’t wait to peruse your recipes because after I realized how easy this was, I’m going to do it more often on days like today when I’ll be running with the kids right into dinnertime!!
Chicken cacciatore. Brown cut up chicken on stovetop for a few minutes before adding to slow cooker. Use marinara sauce or tomato sauce, one cut up chicken, chopped onion, minced garlic and sliced mushrooms. Salt and pepper and some Italian seasoning (basil, oregano). Cook on high setting for several hours. Don’t think this would work for shabbos because the chicken would probably fall apart.
i love to make goulash
I wish I could contribute, but I don’t own a crockpot… something I now believe I need.
Your Shredded Lamb with Tomato & Basil sounds Sooooo good! We love lamb & I’m always looking for good recipes! (i can see doing it using different herbs, too, such as oregano, or rosemary… and it could be great served in a pita!) I haven’t used a slow cooker for many years and would love to try it again!
