Jamie,
I have a question about your recipe for Chocolate Liqueur Pie. If you don’t want to use chocolate liqueur, can you substitute something else?
Thanks,
Libby
Libby,
Thanks for your question. Even though it’s called Chocolate Liqueur Pie you don’t have to use chocolate liqueur. You can substitute 1 tablespoon of pure vanilla extract in place of the 3 tablespoons of liqueur.
If anyone has other non-alcoholic ideas for liqueur substitution, please share them with us here in the comments section.

there is this amazing Triple Chocolate Parfaits but i cant have chocolate liqueur let alone 4 shots of it. i have a party coming up and i need a substitute help, thanks
Hi Holly – some ideas for you: 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of chocolate extract mixed into a little less than 2 tablespoons water to equal 2 tablespoons chocolate liqueur or chocolate syrup
One more thought – to substitute chocolate liqueur you could mix cocoa powder or chocolate syrup with vanilla extract
